I have seen your home pages, including the history of canoes and kayaks, and admired your canoe drawings, especially those connected to the maps on their diffusion around Nord America and Greenland. I suppose that you Thomas has drawn the map and boats too?

While I am writing a canoe history book 'The bark canoes and skin boats of Eurasian north', to be produced and puhlished by the Smithsonian Institution, I would ask if you would be interested to do some drawing work regarding the N Eurasian bark canoes and skin boats. As agreed with Smithsonian, the manuscript should be ready in 2012 and the sales of the book will start in 2013. This book is something new since no books on N Eurasian canoes or kayaks have ever before been published.

If you are interested, then I will discuss this issue, your help to draw some pictures for the book, with Smithsonian. At this stage I can not promise any job, but we will see in the future how the the work goes on and what kind of drawings or help we will need.
