Pool practice

Yesterday was the last pool practice for this year with the club. As usual some twenty kayaks in a 50 mm pool - lots of space for everyone. This time there were no beginners, so we focused on tehcnique and rolling, rather than rescue practice. Some managed their first roll, one hit her forst handroll...
To me it is very gratifying to note that there now is a small group with ambitions above a one side rescue roll, beginning to pursue norsaq rolls, handrolls, reverse roll etc. I have from time to time felt a bit lonely with that in this part of the country.
