Njorden blev färdig söndagen den 27 juni. Har nu paddlat den ett tag och jag är helt frälst. Inte enbart för att jag har byggt den själv kan jag lova. Den är 520 cm och väger 16,8 kg exkl två lager färg.

At the Sommadagarna - a water festival in lake Sommen in August, I did a couple of Greenland rolling demos. At one of these Peter Schedwin sat on a float nearby with a camera. The result he shipped to me on a CD some days later.
And so good were these pics, that I immediately began thinking of rolling instructions pages built on them - pages that could inspire other Greenland rolling aficionados. Here is a few of those new pages (instructions in Swedish yet, but I will translate soon) - they are of course also in the main menu left ("Paddling-Kayak paddling-Eskimo roll"):

Launched my Isfjord in June but didn´t think of sending pics until now. For a beginner the kayak felt quite tippy initially, but it is getting better and better. My two sons also paddle and seems as interested as I am, so I guees there will be more kayaks built - one is not enough for my family. I have til now paddled lakes and rivers, but will get out on the sea - looks fabulous from your pics. At last - thanks for a fabulous kayak model and a quick and good support over the phone.

After a couple of years without a proper qajaq meeting there will be one this year on island Fyn – this time at the Løgismose Beach camping, where the football yard will serve as kayak and tent area.
Just like last time the focus is on greenland skills and greenland kayaks - not just SOFs though – the main thing is interest in grennlandic skills and paddle culture.
And just like last time it is the kayak clubs in Faaborg, Odense and København is arranging.
The program is loosely held, with room for spontaneous additions, and focus on paddling technique, rescues, rolling, rope gymnastics, tours in the Archipelago south of Fyn etc.
I enjoyed myself much last time and plan to attend this year as well…

A major update of the commercial part of the site is just finished. Now I can accept payments via credit cards, thus simplifying the transactions, mainly for customers outside Sweden. Of course it will still be possible to pay with an invoice, for those who wish.
PayPal handle the business part of the transaction - a simple, quick and secure onlöine payment. When you "check out" you will be referred to a PayPal page where you can use most shopping cards or use your PayPal-account (or create one; free and quick). The service is encrypted and protected - I just get a message that the payment is done so I can ship your order. Depending on how you set up your account, you can pay from your computer, from the cellphone or via an USB-memory.
Another minor update is that URL:s are now human readable instead of an nondescript id-number. But old links and favorites are still working.

Många deltagare och trångt på tältplatsen.
Större delen av vecka 30 tillbringade jag på Havkajakroernes sommertræf vid Limfjorden i Danmark. Jag var inbjuden i egenskap av "et kendt udenlandsk navn" och kunde alltså glassa runt med mitt kändisskap och bara njuta av veckan (skulle nog till nöds kunna vänja mig vid lite sådant).
