On September 3, 2017, 70-year old Aleksander Doba landed in Le Conquet in Bretagne after his third crossing of the Atlantic in a kayak, this time starting from Barnegat Bay in New Jersey. He spent 110 days at sea and he has thus paddled the Atlantic along three different routes: the South, the Middle and the North Atlantic.
I have mentioned his achievements in previous postings here and here.
New York Times Magazine/Voyages has published a very well-written and engaging article by Elizabeth Weil on Aleksander Doba and his adventurous paddling trips. Read it!
