Summer again…

27 deg C, blazing sun, no wind and 18 deg in the shallow waters of Salviken – it doesn´t get much more summer at our latitude. I took a brake in the writing job (an article on kayak building for a swedish magazine) and a trip to the waterfront. A short workout and some rolling, as usual - in Njord for a change. I felt Njord needed some warming up before the longer tours of the coming months.

Turqoise waters over white sand at Salviken – a perfect place for rolling practice. Just enough rotting seaweed and stones to guarantee place for the car and space to launch the kayak – sand bottom and clear water in the bay outside the narrow strip of seaweed.
