Om någon skulle ha planerat semester eller så i nordvästra Frankrike kanske det här kan locka:

International Sea Kayakers’ Meeting
14th to 20th August 2006
Buguéles / Penvénan /France
The association CK Mer is organising an international get-together between kayakers from the 14th to the 20th August at Port Blanc near Penvénan in the department of Les Côtes d’Armor.

In order to meet the wishes of paddlers from every land and sea to meet up with each other, we would like to offer you a captivating setting in which to exchange and paddle with others who similarly love the sea and kayaking. The idea is simple: each participant will be self-sufficient as regards his own kayaking and camping equipment. He will organise his own outings depending on his personal capabilities, his interests, his encounters with others…or his mood !
As for the rest, CK/mer will be there in order to share its knowledge of the area, whether it be at sea or on land (shops and bars,…).
We will be set up in a meadow only accomodating tents, located near a beach. There will be showers and toilets available on site.

Price for the week : 20 € per adult/60 € per family (tent pitch, sanitation facilities, Wednesday evening meal, administrative charges)
So there you have our plan which is based on friendship, encounters and sharing with others, freedom, autonomy and individuel responsibility.
Hopefully, the above will give you the urge to come and discover our region by kayak and the week will provide you with a wealth of enjoyment and new experiences.

CK/mer can organise a system of transfer on arrival at the ferry ports of Roscoff and St Malo at the beginning and end of the week’s get-together.
