Choosing: My kayaks: Alert/2

Plans kayak - Alert/2, €105

Alert/2

Alert/2 is a double with the same hull form as Alert. The size makes it faster, more stable, and even more comfortable in a blow. Unfortunately it also makes it harder to handle. For all but a coordinated and determined team, a rudder would be an useful addition.

The plans show three deck layouts – two cockpits close to each other (best in a seaway), two cockpits with a cargo hatch or child cockpit between and one large classical open cockpit.
