A beautifully constructed Caribou 495 in Denmark.

Tilbage i maj købte jeg tegninger af dig til at bygge Caribou 495. Langt om længe er den færdig og sikke en fornøjelse det har været at bygge den.
Det er bestemt ikke sidste gang, at jeg skal bygge kanoer og kajakker.
Tak for gode præcise tegninger og gode beskrivelser af processen.

A new, unusually "Greenlandic" Black Pearl has seen water in the Netherlands – the color and the almost invisible hatches conjure up a vision of skin covering, and the deck lines are attached in a traditional Greenlandic way.

Here she is, my Black Pearl Tikaani, which means Wolf in Inuktitut. She measures 569x49cm, by 17,5 kg. I am so very happy with how she turned out, I can’t stop smiling!

I spent a good amount of extra hours making the tinted inset deck and magnetic hatches, but no regrets. She is so handsome on and off the water. Thanks for your elegant design, the boat triggers a bunch of positive reactions.
I’m also very grateful for all your tips and advice. Very important for me as a first time builder.
